I really hope this conversation goes further...signal is part open source and part proprietary. I will look to see if they disclose which portions are open.

When I first started using signal they made clear that only part of their service was open source. It appears now that protocol, client and servers are open source. The server is troublesome and I will like to find a decentralized alternative can someone check me that Signal has indeed become 100% open source?
