I would love it if Trump started his own social network. I hope he'll be able to. They have many ways to stop him from even getting off the ground with it.
They might have invested in something that could have been easily shut down or become obsolete when the time came.
Example: my college spent a shit ton of money wiring all the dorms for internet....right before wireless happened.
Hindsight is 20/20. Sometimes it's better to wait until you see the true lay of the land.
