And by simple economics, it will not work. Centrally planned economies have always failed, just because you have AI and technology this time does not mean you will succeed. Centrally planned economies always misalign what the public wants and what the public gets, because what sounds good on paper rarely is.

You still don't get it: It will not be "centrally planned". It will just be a few dozen gigacorps owning everything. No "planning" but total global control. It's cyberpunk without the punk.

Maybe "global feudalism" is a fitting description.

Monopolies also do not work economically, they stagnate. When India's government controlled monopolies were opened up to the world, they found themselves woefully unprepared for what was developed. Within a year or so, they lost most of their market share and many of them were forced to close up shop. The few that survived took years to recover and get on track.

The goal is to kill America and make America lose it's position as world leader.

I agree it won't work either. But see: Even the soviet empire lasted for decades, until it all fell apart. And it took many millions of lifes before it finally ended. On a global scale it would take even more lifes.

In other words: Waiting for it to fail is not an option.

I think we should follow a game plan similar to the timeline for the revolutionary war, then.

That assumes that they even care now about most of the population. They can brainwash most of it to dumb it down to the point that they become slavish and docile, as in the Middle Ages.

Look weak when you are strong, look strong when you are weak.

I say this in a very simple terms... so long as two men are on earth, they will find a reason to fight each other. There is always trouble in paradise, you just don't see it because you are on the outside.
