At this point, Trump would not be obeyed if he declared martial law. It would be a terrible mistake.

I'm inclined to agree. Trump would need an accurate inventory of loyal generals, admirals, law enforcement chiefs and heads of departments. Even if some are loyal, is it enough? And can he be certain that his assessment of these officials' loyalty is accurate? Or account for an unknown percentage of turncoats?

There's just nothing to suggest based on his entire presidency that he will take such drastic action. The only thing we've seen come out of his arena in the past couple of days is their legal team filing more lawsuits about his twitter ban.

Alex Jones may be right in that Trump is being coerced and controlled at the top. He has no one around him following orders and directives. Trump and KayMac's response to the Capital event was concerning because it was a condemnation of our actions. They did not defend us in any way whereas D's would've said boldly that this was the result of denying people their right to have their votes heard. The anger of the people was on full display.
