there had to be some media that wasn’t bought and paid for.
they’re threatening his family.
At this point, he must realize that government is done. Even if he tries a media empire, the FCC will crush it/deplatform it.
The only thing I can think of is that his family is being threatened. To that point, I don’t blame him for any actions that save his family, because I would do the same.
But honestly, who in the military can he trust. People can be jingoistic and say, “the marines!” Or whatever, but then what about people like Matthis? The only other thing I can think of is he’s scrambling to find loyalists in the military.
