CCP doesn't allow any religion but it couldn't squash out all religions. It is in the process of eliminating minority religions and any religions that have a central religious figure or authority. Few common examples of such are Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism. The majority of the chinese people practice taoism or a form of it which does not have a central religious figure or authority and thus, as of right now, does not interfere with the CCP's plans.
