People need to realize that having an Alexa, Cortana, or Siri within your house has the same function as allowing the British to quarter soldiers in private citizens' home 250 years ago, don't you?
Soldiers were not quartered in home to reduce army camp logistics - they were placed in homes as intelligence gathering troops, eaves-dropping on conversations and being observant for any behavior deemed suspicious.
Now, we make it all to easy for Big Tech to do the same using modern technology.
Modernize your view of the 3rd Amendment, folks. It's just as necessary as the first two Amendments...
I didn't get rid of Prime, at least not yet, but we're on a boycott for purchases... I often spend thousands monthly on Amazon, so that's going to be an inconvenience.
Ugh, same for me. Got rid of the easy ones (like Twitter) first. I still use Facebook Marketplace because it is the best out there at the moment. Probably will need to create a fake profile for it though so they at least won't have my info anymore.
Currently trying to de-Google. Will take a while though.
Already done. I hope Jeremy Clarkson and his former top gear team take a walk quick, or use up their contract doing s*** like riding lawn mowers into the river, riding bicycles pulling boats, essentially ruining their show until they get fired.
I presume all these people telling me where to shop, will gladly deposit a few hundred dollars into my bank account each month to make up for the extra money I will be spending?

Cancelled Netflix New Year’s Day. Cancelled prime last night. Come on Pedes. Do it and convince 3 others to do it as well.
I'll also sell my stocks on Monday, fuck them.

Would it be going to far to post videos of shooting my speaker thingy?
Don't forget your OnStar and equivalents.
It basically means you can get anything random that exists delivered to your house within 2-3 days. It’s just super convenient
Spot on. Sometimes next day delivery too. It’s conditioned people to expect packages in less than a week
Hey look everyone! Someone that has a different life than you, is telling you how to live yours.
What does that sound like?
I've never shopped from amazon , you don't have to at all.
Also cancel audible - owned by amazon. Cancelled mine today

Some people are complete oblivious to what big tech is doing to their rights as an American citizen!
