its pure denial. frankly I've never seen so many people in such deep denial before in my entire life. they get angry at you for telling the truth because the truth makes them feel uncomfortable. looking at it from a psychology viewpoint its seen as a coping mechanism. kind of like falling for a scam, the more invested in the false reality people are, the harder they will fight to silence the truth. and the propaganda stations have spent years ingraining a false reality into millions of not billions of minds.

^THIS. My daughter, who is completely red-pilled, spent several days with my liberal son and dIL over Christmas. She tried to have a mild conversation by refuting quite a few things they believe with actual facts. My son (who has a PhD in a science field) got so upset he almost started crying. I told her it was the conflict of his science background that is supposed to be backed up by data crashing into his brainwashed beliefs that aren't factual. He had to concede she was right on several points and this sent him over the edge.

And you stood in the aisle and said "her mother and I" to the science guy who cries?

That guy is my son. You can bet there was a civil war in our family when he said he wanted to marry her. It caused so much division that his father and I were treated like crap at the wedding by her and her entire family. I did everything I could to stop him from marrying her, but free will is a thing, and he made his choice. I'm convinced if he only stayed in college long enough to get his bachelor's in engineering he would have made it out unscathed. A PhD requires many years in the brainwashing system. We fight to this day to get his mind back.

Best of luck in your effort friend. As an academic myself I can say that most of these academic types are very insecure people. You basically learn in your phd that the only thing that is truth is what your peers agree upon..... You know because they're the smartest people 🙄

Try a different angle man. Take him hunting or something that encourages his individuality - get him out of the circle jerk world he's in. You can experience freedom outside of politics.

This is why I'm speaking to everyone and unpacking their fears. Most of the headlines these days denies basic historical truths about racial groups, business transactions and common law
