Initial raid was BATF. 4 BATF agents killed, rest allowed to leave by the dividians because the poor bastards had shot all of their ammo.

FBI came after, and yes, used tanks to punch holes in the walls and pump in CS gas, knocking over propane lanterns as they did so, starting fires. Then, the CS gas they pumped in decomposed into hydrogen cyanide, likely killing most of those who were burned in the compound before the fire reached them.
