So, thought here. If a buyer were to come along and offer a price to the company in the neighborhood of 5x-8x more per diluted share Twitter board would be forced to sell. Forced as in the value to the shareholders through sale would be greater than holding the stock for the next 30 quarters (avg. long term Fortune 500 hold). That new owner could do WHATEVER THEY WANT AS THEY WOULD OUTRIGHT OWN THE CORPORATION. This could include keeping it up but changing all the policies or bringing down the service and suing anyone trying to replicate the IP.
So for ~$250B you could own Twitter. That’s the ‘Fuck You I Own This’ price.
