Not only did Trump repeatedly tell people to be peaceful beforehand, he almost immediately put out a video telling people to leave after it got violent.

Now compare to Pelosi, Schumer, Poop Pants, Pencil Neck, AOC or other Democrat leadership while DC was being ransacked for days on end by Democrats.

And I think his speech was genius cause it was SO low key “I could bore you for hours with all the same ole evidence” .. I was a little let down watching it but after I think that was a genius speech.. might even have been a little bit of “whoa that’s A LOT of people”. He could have done anything with that many people to command and that was just a small percentage of what’s really out there . And that horrifies ‘them’

He had make the speech late and long enough for their plan to be foiled. Imagine if people were there earlier and the bombs weren't found...

2
polokyle 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think he was stalling, he knew there was something fucky going down. That video of those fuckers at the front, looking around waiting for legit MAGA people to show up so they could start wrecking shit, IT WAS A SETUP

2
AussieTrumpFan 2 points ago +2 / -0

It was so genius because it kept people away from the Capitol while the bad shit was happening. Not that phone books exist any more, but if Trump was going to read the phone book in person, I dare say he'd quite readily get 1+million showing up to hear him do it.

I don't really buy into the delay being part of the Insurrection Act or EO rollout, but it does look like a duck, walk like a duck, sound like a duck, and fucks like a duck. So, I'm not really sure what the end game is. At least it kept more pedes safe.

"when it got violent", hmm - meaning after protestors were allowed in by Capitol police who moved aside barricades, who were chilling within arms' reach, visors up, taking selfies with the protestors?

Perhaps after those same protestors committed almost no damage to the building or its historical contents, respected velvet ropes, and left peacefully when asked? Also all on video.

Or do you mean when an unarmed 4-tour veteran got shot in the neck by someone for starting to climb through a window which she did not break, with Capitol police standing immediately behind her?

5
colers 5 points ago +5 / -0

In all fairness, based on an on-the-ground right wing source, what basically happened is that the "usual suspects" as we may call them (Probably there hoping there would be some shitstarting counterprotesters to brawl with) started to intimidate the police and pushed the rather negligable police presence backwards. This police then backed up into one direction; where the hooligans started to do the more vandal acts of breaching like bashing windows.

This entirely left open a path for the protestors to a different entrance at the final defensive police line, where the policemen probably figured their colleagues just let them through so they went like "Hey, good lads, feel free to enter. Behave though, and we still might to arrest you on federal trespassing into Congress but hey, thats Wednesday nowadays. Have fun!" and then proceeded to let the confused crowd of boomers and middle aged white people waltz in.

I stay with the point that if there was even a single legitimate terrorist in the crowd; we would've known. This situation could've been easily abused by anyone to go to one of the offices that doesn't connect to the window, which, mind you, are filled with wonderful oh-so-flammable paper and hardwood furniture, clog the fire alerts and then just leave a few ignited molotovs that would eventually explode. None of this happened.

4
Whatyougotson 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yep...no fire...would have been burned down if it was a liberal mob.

The Democrats screamed bloody murder when the BLM rioters were finally dispersed by police so President Trump could safely visit St. John's Church, which BLM had set ablaze the night before.

allochronological 33 points ago +34 / -1

This is why the narrative is so laughable. Not just the video of police letting people into the damn building.

If patriots wanted to seize the building they would have gone armed and carried out whatever the mission was. However there WAS NO PLAN to enter the Capitol. It was simply a setup, and a few fell for it.

Also, 4 killed BY POLICE and for the 1 cop who later died of a medical condition there's no evidence available that he was even attacked. Bunch of bullshit.

20
maga_mama_757 20 points ago +20 / -0

Right. The cop's family is saying he died of a medical condition and asking the press to quit politicizing it. I have no idea where the fire extinguisher story even came from.

Dude!.....if he called for a building to be stormed....that building would have been rubble!

11
_-Th0r-_ 11 points ago +11 / -0

This.

And let’s not pretend like if BLM/Antifa gained access like our people did that it would still be standing. The place would be molotov cocktailed and rekt.

We stayed within the rope lines ffs.

It is precisely because Trump tweeted for peace and to go home that it had to be banned. Can’t let evidence that counters coup talk to remain in public.

22
Bluestorm83 22 points ago +22 / -0

Yeah, this is the thing. If my President told me "That building has been taken by traitors and communists and foreign agents," I would go in there and the enemy would actually be killed.

I want to make that clear.

I am not calling for violence, I am not saying we should do violence, I am not saying that I will do violence. Violence is the LAST resort. But if the Legitimately Elected President of the United States spent weeks showing data of an illegal coup, and I saw that data, and it all appeared legit, and everyone who is supposed to act on that data in the legal channels not only failed to correct the error but also refused to even ACKNOWLEDGE the data... and then the President said to me "Okay, we tried to do everything the right way. Now we must fight for our nation," then we would not sake a selfie in Pelosi's chair or carry a podium away or anything else that amounts to A FUCKING HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR PRANK. We would be washing blood out of carpets for a very long time.

NOBODY WANTS TO HAVE TO DO THAT. I am a Christian Man. If all of these people who have 100% been compromised by foreign actors, their Chinese Whores and Drivers and whatever else, said to me "Okay, you got me, please, please, PLEASE let me live!" I would consider life imprisonment in some sort of Tower Prison that can only be accessed by Helicoptor, has walls that taper inward making it impossible to climb down, has a ten story concrete and rebar base with NO internal passages, and is surrounded on the ground for acres in every direction with three foot spikes at all angles. But this is digression.

My point is, if the President, the Actual President, who at the very least is STILL OUR PRESIDENT RIGHT NOW until the Inauguration, even in a "worst case scenario," if that PRESIDENT who is the COMMANDER IN CHIEF gave that COMMAND, to storm and take a building, that building would be TAKEN and HELD.

In actual Literal Minecraft, I like to try and build huge structures on survival mode, with either weird mod packs that make everything super difficult or just by imposing ridiculous goals onto myself. I once, on vanilla, years (probably a decade and a half, honestly,) decided to do everything entirely in a winter biome, with the added Roleplay that I had to remain inside a "heated" room at night, or be within like 10 blocks of a fire source, or within 20 blocks of lava. I even set up lava as a heat source for my crops, so they wouldn't "freeze." Eventually, though, my ingenious lava radiators burned down my log cabin during the night. I think they updated the game, made the way that sparks get thrown different, and, well, there ya go.

But it's probably been 2 years since I've fired up Minecraft at all, and at least 5 years since I've actually had the time to give it a serious go beyond checking out a mod pack and realizing that there's too much reality to take care of. Sometimes being a grownup sucks. Because I DO love to get home after a long day of making and building with my body, and be able to make and build with my mind while the old muscles and joints recuperate.

Fun story, will dox me if you are one very specific person:

One time, I was on a public minecraft server. I built everything I did entirely on ships. I had a farming ship that looked like a Chinese Junk, a simple sailboat that my bedroom was on, a frigate with my chests, and was working on a grand galleon just to be cool. There were some people settled on the hills at the shore nearby, nice people, a dude and his girlfriend had a little cabin they built, some other guy was living hobbit style, it was a nice place for amateurs to just kinda chill.

Well, some asshat came on one day. He took half of that little cabin, left signposts with swastikas all over them. He blew up that hobbit hole. He encased my bed with obsidian, and poured lava on my ships.

He made the mistake of taunting me in the game's chat. Which exposed me to his account name.

Which was also his Facebook account name.

Which had pictures of his car on it.

With his Texas License Plate.

Rabbit hole later, there he is at work, when he gets an email on his company account that begins with "Listen to me, you motherfucker, who the fuck do you think you are to waste HOURS of my time put into building those ships?"

I know that this is the kind of thing that is always a LARP, and there's nothing I can say to convince you that this is factual, but that dude swore up and down that he let his friend use his minecraft account, that it wasn't him, he's sorry, all that shit. Whatever. I was honestly already tired of all the effort it took, and just glad that I'd scared him. In Minecraft.

Well, because of Minecraft.

Not only would the building be gone, so would anything adjecent. Walking around a building is not an insurrection

9
Mr-J 9 points ago +9 / -0

a building that Is NOT private property since they steal money from our paychecks to fill and maintain it

8
GregTheTraceur 8 points ago +8 / -0

This is what I have been telling people. The crowd got rowdy around 2pm or so, and congress was back in session at 9.

Do you know how they reclaimed the building, cleared it, and secured it in under 7 hours? The crowd gave it back. It wasn't a siege (as cool as that name is), it wasn't a takeover, it wasn't a hostage situation. That was never the plan. If it was, things would have gone differently.

7
NoCoupForYou 7 points ago +7 / -0

If it was BLM, there would be a pile of ash and a Section 8 housing dweller would be using Pelosi's laptop to search for big butt porn, while the Congress screamed that the Capitol Police elbowed an antifa carrying a molotov and left a big blue boo-boo, and dared to use tear gas to break it up.

6
Trumpstrumpets 6 points ago +6 / -0

Exactly how I feel: if trump wanted to " incite a riot, or rioutous behavior" you would have more than a few bullet holes and broken windows. Amen, I was there! If the crowd would have been violent nothing could have stopped it! The crowd size was indescribable, undeniably and 99.99% peaceful! If he wanted people to help with an insurrection, he would have told the crowd to take the capitol. Then instead of walking around inside for a little while, people would have taken over the legislature, announced a new government, and declared Trump as president and Trump would have accepted it.

That's how it works everywhere else in the world, and that's how it would have worked here if that was really the plan.

me_shuggah 1 point ago +2 / -1

He didn't make the call to storm the building, just to peacefully march towards it. The problem is, we all feared a false flag event. He must have been aware that even if people marched peacefully towards the Capitol, something could go wrong. Did he really expect people to just sit around the Capitol for 12 hours while the debates were taking place inside without any incidents occurring? People getting drunk, tired, fed up, desperate, etc? Maybe he should have thought about installing a giant screen somewhere for them to watch it together or something like that, with bands performing in between? I would like to hear what was his strategy for that day, what did he want people to actually do? Did he address that? He also should have warned people about instigators. Did he do that?

I think it is very important to find out, because this very moment when the Capitol was invaded, stopped the debates, which were the only chance for "the other half" to see and understand the evidence. It also actually changed their course: gave Dems the moral high ground of "preventing an insurgency" and GOP an excuse to argue less vigorously or not all. If you're in doubt - watch how they argued before the invasion, and afterward. How the whole dynamic has shifted. Not to mention - it now serves as an excuse for an on-going commie purge.

1
Revelation2010 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's the amazing thing. Overtaking the capitol was done by a group of people that had been disenfranchised, and the only thing they had in their favor was determination. It wasn't planned. There wasn't a leader of the operation. The people didn't use firearms. They didn't have a way to communicate or coordinate. We need to remember this.

DonaldisQ 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump had the scaffolding placed there on purpose for us he knew that we were going to go in and fight in fact the word fight was said a total of 7000 times there at the rally by all the speakers that Q ways of telling us what to do! As Trump one said the tree of liberty must be fertilized by the blood of patriots! Trump is the bravest man in the United States, he was on his way to lead us when we stormed the capital but his bone spurs bothered him that day.

1
Farage_massage 1 point ago +1 / -0

This is the real joke. People entered the building allegedly by smashing windows, but mainly by just pushing and outnumbering cops, then they walked around, tipped over some chairs and took some selfies.

Were these “Domestic Terrorists” they would’ve set the building on fire. Imagine if 1% of the 100,000 had been armed terrorists? Imagine 10% There wouldn’t be a Capitol Hill cop left alive - this was at BEST a rowdy protest and by the summer’s standards a pretty passive one.
