FAA shut down all air traffic above 18000' from North Carolina to New Jersey for 2 hours today. They claimed it was due to kovind cleaning at any air traffic control radar facility. I guess they didn't want to use their secondary terminals, But who really looks into the technical details anyways.
They probably can't land due to the noxious fumes and smell emanating from the Swamp creatures below........

It's always been this way. You're not allowed to fly over DC. It's why the planes make that weird AF turn before landing at DCA
