Once I signed on I realized I have made many reviews of items and answered many questions for other users, so instead of deleting my account, I went into settings and deleted my credit card off the site, Then I change my username on the site (what shows up in reviews and questions) and changed that to "TRUMP WON" and it changed to that for every review I ever made or question answered

Expect amazon to delete your account for you any minute.
I wrote a review once on how a seller tried to bribe me for their crappy product that was worse than 0 stars... they banned me from further reviews.
They're scum
They banned me from reviews around Christmas. bought a new mic that i thought was a Shure dynamic mic based on the pictures shown and the description. It turned out to be a no-name chinese knockoff that looked nothing like the pics and didn't even work. I returned it and wrote in the review not to buy it and reported them to amazon. Amazon no longer lets me review items and waited until yesterday to return my money. I exposed their secret. Cheap garbage on there unless its being sold by the item manufacturer itsself.
Yup. Garbage. I was upgrading my podcasting and streaming setup with the Shure, but it turned out to be Slnure, with a lowercase l and lowercase n shoved up next to each other to look the part. Assholes. I'm an ex musician. Lips are too shot for brass instruments. Played screech trumpet for wayyyyyy too long. And I can't sing worth a shit, though my wife records vocals on my equipment and loves the sound quality for a usb mic. I ended up with a Blue Yeti X. My shock mount and boom arm will be in tomorrow. Better than the old high-end Sennheiser XLR mics I had and at a fraction of the price. :D
Go to a pawn shop and buy an old sm-58... great sound, extremely durable...
I used to have a couple. Sound was too bright for me, but they were great road mics. You're right. They are really durable. And still fairly cheap new at $99.
IIRC, I had an older version of the Sennheisser E845S, which is very similar to the Shure, but with a richer sound imo. I had 2 of them when I was DJing weddings a LONG time ago. I'd use them with either XLR or a wireless adapter (which were junk back then) and give them to guests for toasts, speeches, and the like. They were durable, picked up anywhere somebody wanted to talk into it, and looked the part. My personal mic was a first gen (I think) Sennheiser MD241. It was a gift from the guy who trained me as a DJ. Idk if they made that mic in the 2000s, but it looks identical to what I had and sounded incredible for the time.
Funny thing is, that digital usb Blue Yeti sounds better at half the price. Tech has come a long way in a decade or so. Its all aluminum and the cardioid pickup is incredibly sensitive. I barely use any gain to push it, even into my monitors. I'd love to see Shure or Sennheiser branch off into a usb design, each with their distinct sound that users like.
I couldn't help but laugh at the first part. Sorry man.
The worst part about our instrument markets being flooded with Chinese garbage is that it was iconic companies like Fender, and Gibson that bear a lot of the blame. When I was a young player, you had to make sacrifices to get a quality instrument. Now days, if you cant afford the American made garbage that the major manufacturers are trying to pass off as quality instruments, they will gladly sell you something from their Chinese shitbox line of instruments. In the last 15 years I have bought and sold around 12 Les Pauls. Every last one had problems that could have been avoided with QC, but these companies dont give a shit about that anymore. Fender is much the same. I build all of my own strats now, using necks and bodies from Warmoth, a good American company. I'll never give either of those companies a dime of my money again. Fuck anyone that does biz with enemies of the constitution.
Guitar kits from stewart mcdonald stewmac.com parts, repair tools, etc..
They carry the mighty mite necks and bodies, which are made in Indonesia, the Warmoth stuff is made right here in the USA, and it is much better that an anything that Fender ever put out. You can’t get a neck from Fender with a compound radius unless you go custom. You can from Warmoth, with no extra charge. I just about have my shop complete, so I wont be buying any necks or bodies after that. Want to start doing my own from scratch.
All my musical gear is US made. Except for keyboard stuff :)
Those japs sure can make an electronic piano tell you what.
Read in Boomhauer voice?
Where do you buy your equipment from?
Not sure it’s a secret
US manufacturer here - the worst part is that we (the manufacturers) have no control over who can sell our product, even under our own listing. If you dig a little into the product listings you will see that many of them are being fulfilled by multiple sellers and there is NO WAY for a consumer to tell who they are actually buying from. Anyone in China can create an account, offer a counterfeit version of our product for sale, outbid the legit product with a lowball price and sell dozens or even hundreds of units before they are caught. Then when their account gets canned they just start a new one. It’s a huge problem that most people don’t even know about (most of us have probably bought counterfeit product there without even realizing it, I would wager), and that Amazon doesn’t seem to care much about fixing.
I got banned for reviews when I received a fake, defective laptop battery listed as genuine. Apparently the right course of action isn’t posting pics of the battery received, it is contacting the seller for a refund.
Happened to me too. I tried to talk to someone to customer service about it and I was pretty much ignored.
I left a comment that said something along the lines "Seller sent me the wrong thing, but corrected it immediately. I donated the wrong item to my local church."
They, amazon, refused to let my comment through....I wonder why. Bet if I had said mosque or satanic child sacrifice pit they would have let it through.
It was spoons.
They banned me for saying a candy was delicious and "addictive"
My brother wrote a review of a product, and was pleased with the product itself but casually mentioned that they could use a better courier (it had taken a month to be delivered and he'd had several nasty replies from the courier company). He got an email from the seller offering a partial refund (ie. a bribe) to take the review down, brother refused, so they complained to Amazon who accepted the refund on my bro's behalf AND took his perfectly honest review down.
Fuck Amazon.
I had a review deleted on a third party seller that never delivered the product, I got my money back at least
Amazon has to keep the money flowing somehow. If people saw honest reviews of how much crap they sell, and how many crappy sellers they allow on their marketplace, nobody would take the risk.
So truth in advertising says Amazon sucks
That should be their logo
That logo would be the first honest thing Amazon has done in years! Hahaha!
I left a positive review for a based vitamin merchant. The merchant in their profile backed the 2a and had that printed on their bottle. My review mentioned that and minutes later was reviewed and removed for violating some random policy.
They're more than happy to take a cut from gun accessory sales tho
I've bought lights and rails and red dots and all kinds of shit from Amazon
I know reviews are moderated, so would imagine that edits are moderated. Cool if they let him change the name used though without their review.
Good. Don’t care
Noice
I can confirm that this works, this person is a genius, please sticky.
Yes, and you can still cancel Prime too.
Just did today!
Excellent.
by a lot.
I will have to do the same.
I'm also thinking of ordering from Amazon once or twice per week and returning everything to jack them on shipping, and contribute to globull warming.
If 80 million patriots ordered something at least once per week and returned it, I think it would make a difference. I'm starting with me.
Get low value, heavy stuff that is expensive to ship. Like charcoal and lead sinkers.
Kek wills it
*Applause, brilliant!
this is what everyone should do, change their username to that, or Bidencheated or that sort of thing.

Great idea! I'm inspired!
Don't delete yet! Wait until everything opens back up. In the meantime use the free delivery option and order one small item every day: paper clips one day, 2 Bic pens the next, 8 Brillo pads the next.. clog the snot out of their delivery and kill their profits!!!!
My teenage daughter loves buying clothes. I had her return over 15 different shirts and pants she ordered recently. I'm going to keep buying crap and returning it to cost them money.
Edited: If you are planning this only do it to "Sold and Shipped by Amazon" products. Don't want to be hurting any small business and third party sellers.
I would do the same because I had thousands of reviews but a couple months ago after I gave a negative review to a liberal book, ALL my reviews were removed from amazon and the ability to leave reviews was removed from my account. I have an order coming from amazon that has not arrived yet so as soon as it does get here and everything is good (not needing to be returned), I'll be cancelling.
BIGLY
big league?
That's worth keeping the account going lol
