How to cancel Amazon Prime:
Visit Amazon’s ‘Manage Your Prime Membership’ page by clicking this link.
Hit ‘Update your settings’ under the ‘Manage Membership’ box in the top-right corner.
Select the ‘End Membership’ option.
Amazon will then attempt to keep you around by asking if you’re sure you really want to cancel your Prime membership. It’s up to you to stay strong.
Your Prime membership (whether paid or free) will automatically end when it’s up for renewal, and you won’t be charged for another month.

The problem is people aren't deleting their Amazon accounts. Delete that too
The only option I had was not renewing prime when it comes due in July. It used to be you could cancel and get a refund for the time remaining.
You can delete your account. I just did today. Had it for nearly 20 years. I just searched "delete Amazon account" and find the page
