The real number you shouldn't be trusting is the number western countries are reporting but the answer is that they're both lying and that the numbers don't matter anyway.
I used to think that the only numbers to trust were the population to deaths ratio. But after a pretty short period of time, I came to realise that all of the numbers are fake. There is no virus. The whole thing is an operation to take down Trump and subjugate the masses.

China definitely doesn't pretend anymore that the death numbers from Tiananmen was 0.
What I found funny was I saw on a local news channel that China has asked its citizens in 2 cities to stay home. "Asked". Ya, totally not under threat of severe harm. Just politely "asked" is all.
Ironically I trust their numbers more than ours
