Funny thing about Russel's Pacific mall bit...it's 100% true. It is like little China there, was always getting pinched by the RCMP for counterfeit goods.
There is nothing that Amazon sells that you can't find elsewhere. It takes a bit more time and effort that's all. My main advice is to check the sellers reviews before putting your order to avoid bad experiences.
You're right, it's just going to take a change in habits. I'm up for it, it's just going to be the most inconvenient. Everything else has been an easy switch. Firefox to brave, google search to swisscows, gmail to protonmail, etc.
Amazon is the one thing that is all separated. But it's fine. I'll adjust :)
No institution can remain true to its mission statement once it loses sight of ideals. Google wanted to bring the world together, share as much information to as many as possible and make knowledge available at our fingertips. Instead it ended up dividing us into sides, restricting information to increase it's own power and trying to rewrite history to suit it's agenda. They should have stayed true to their youthful and innocent mission statement. Power does indeed corrupt. They are what they accuse Trump of being: authoritarian, liars, haters and oppressors of peoples.
I remember when Google was NOT evil, and they were about total freedom (which is where Android came from in the first place). Now, it couldn't be further from the truth. Lefties are insane, but maybe they're right about unchecked capitalism turning good companies into total evil.
The Marxist authoritarian conformist “right thing” to do is a little different than the classical liberal individualist right thing to do. I guess they left that part out.
Sounds like a mafia threat.
Do the right thing..or else.
And the right thing is what they define it to be.
"Do the right thing! Be a Man!"

I'm pretty sure Hitler, Mao, and Stalin thought they were doing the right thing.
I deleted my Google and Facebook accounts yesterday. Gotta get off Amazon next.
I'm not gonna lie, Amazon is going to be the hardest for me.

Hard? I never use Amazon and never have and I have never had a problem getting anything, ever.
Now, under Heels and Hiden admin, it has been further modified to:
"Do the, the thing"
Screwgle (like Crapple) has always projected.
Google thinks "the right thing" is sometimes also evil. Get how that works?

It’s okay to be evil as long as you “do the right thing”

More like "Do The Left Thing".
The Simpsons used to have a rule too, "no evil thoughts". I have it in one of the 1st Simpsons comics.
Watch the Simpsons now (don't) and they are cynical, dark and self-righteous.
I remember that too. Right when they first did that and how creepy it was... I think I read it on Digg 😂
Someone @ the CEO of Google on Twatter this, maybe he'll be redpilled in second or something.
Google = Evil Corp.
You should really watch Mr. Robot!
The implicit motto, taking both into account, is "Do the right thing, even if it is evil"
