This is an excellent analogy. It started with "it's lesser quality... But cheaper...i guess I'll buy the Chinese knockoff." And now I look at the labels all around my house and am floored by how many items have "made in China" slapped on them.

It's going to be hard to become such a label concious shopper, but it's going to happen.
