Firstly, I don't have a Twitter account but when loading a new page after visiting a link on Twitter In bottom left of my browser it says briefly 'twitter.syndicate' or something.

Anyone know what this is?

My recollection is that Twitter changed its user agreement in December of 2017 to allow for geo tracking of users. It was an issue because it could identify POTUS’s location when he tweeted, which was a considered a security threat.

They also changed it to track across the web. See here. https://mashable.com/2017/11/17/twitter-hate-speech-symbols-december-18/
