Bitcoin is completely uncontrolled though, plenty of people support it so just the fact that Dorsey supports it means nothing. Personally I dont like bitcoin cause in the form it is rn it will never be an actual currency cause it too slow, but that doesnt mean you should discount it. No matter what supporting bitcoin helps support crypto and ultimatly will help take power away from payment processors like Visa, mastercard, paypal, and best of all Dorsey's Square.
