Mods,
I've suggested this before, as have others, and I am sure you've already thought of this yourselves.
But just to keep advocating, please set up a mirror of TD.win on the Dark Web with a .onion URL accessible via TOR. Just another way for us to keep going if the .win domain gets seized, or if the government/Big Tech tries to monitor us even more closely.
Heck, even Facebook has a mirror on the Dark Web (why, I have no idea) so I would hope we can, too!
Other folks,
Don't get scared by "the Dark Web." It's way over-hyped. It's also slow as hell. But it's good to have as an option.
As soon as I get a new phone and home internet, I'm setting up a secure system and getting into this. I've been interested in it, but I didn't want to mess around without a VPN, and a dedicated computer with no important information
Yeah, the silence you got was your answer. The answer is NO.
Well, they are busy, and sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I just want to keep awareness up that there is interest in it.
It will be very important to have TD.win on the Dark Web if the government or Big Tech tries to crack down on the regular Internet further.
I've been pitching a crowdfunding idea, to keep our money in our community, I'm not a techie but it's a good idea.
I was thinking of this idea. Someone is trying to startup, or something and needs 100 k. 10k pedes invest 10 bucks and a new conservative business with jobs is born. Ethnic groups do similar all the time. I've seen a group of Latinos pool money for one guy to get a nicer truck than he could get on his own. In two years they all have nice cars, when going alone they would have a old car
This is their site. They work very hard. They built it themselves and maintain it. They make no money from it. Do not whine at the Mods.
If they feel that something like that needs to be done, they will do it. There are backup sites.
Don't tell me what to do--especially when I'm not doing what you say I am.
I'm not whining. I'm making a request. I even said "please."
I run an extremely large web forum myself for religious discussion. I always appreciate politely expressed feature requests. Yes, it's their site, but they're making it for us, so don't you think they want feedback to gauge what would best serve the community?
There is no backup site on the Dark Web.
