Excellent point. Iran wasn’t adhering to the nuclear deal. The Arabs in so-called Palestine weren’t adhering to their peace agreements. Russia wasn’t adhering to our arms control treaties with them. China wasn’t adhering to human law and basic human decency. Many of our NATO allies weren’t paying their fair share. The list goes on.
