Laws only have power when they are almost universally accepted, or when there is sufficient power to enforce them. The Constitution is no longer in effect, since even the Supreme Court will no longer examine a case that inconveniences the oligarchy.

All government is force. We've abandoned our legal charters, so I guess the amount of force being used is sorting itself out. The people closest to power are advancing authoritarian rule. I don't know what sort of resistance to that will organize.
