One of my employers always wants to send me for training (or used to, before covid) and I had no desire to fly across the continent. If I can get on that list - and demand my employer pull strings to get me off of it (which can't happen, as no one knows how to get removed) - that would solve my problems.
I haven't flown commercially for 15 years now. I don't do it for personal trips, so I sure as hell won't do it for work. If that means they fire me, I'm ok with it. Hasn't been a problem so far though, and every manager I've had is aware of my stance on it.
