Pompeo is trying to prop himself up for a 2024 run. This is his highlight reel hoping we don’t forget him. He was the CIA Director, that’s as swampy as it gets. They want him to run in 2024 to make us think a Trump guy is running to sucker us for donations. Don’t fam for it.
But his opinions are pretty spot on regarding foreign policy (China, Russia etc).

I remember listening to NPR at this time. They beat and beat their listeners over the head with the "Russian collusion" narrative only to turn around 180 degrees and try to convince us that the Russian perspective on the INF treaty was accurate. 100% propaganda is what NPR is.
Let's see. US develops drones that have similar characteristics as land-launched mid-range cruise missiles that were supposed to be banned under the treaty.
US unilaterally leaves ABM treaty under the pretext of Iranian threat in early 2000s, while Iran doesn't even have a nuclear weapon 20 years later, let alone a delivery method capable of reaching the US.
Puts "missile defense bases" in Poland and Romania under US command that by default hosts land-launched mid-range missiles. And not even the host country will truly know what type of missile it hosts, a defensive missile or a mid-range cruise missile with a nuclear warhead right at Russia's door.
US surrounds Russia with AEGIS ships and other bases that pose a threat to Russia's ICBMs, which are mostly vulnerable in the early launch stage.
All of these Russia's concerns were ignored, because Russia was much weaker at that time. And it was Russia cheating and was supposed to do nothing? The arms started when US left the ABM treaty back in early 2000s.

This is not the whole story, maybe Russia did break it, maybe not but that is not important. What is important is China was not part of it so China built a large force of Intermediate-Range Nuclear capable missiles while America had her hands tied.
We had to get out of it, so blaming the other party of a breech is the easy way, just how shit works but it was beyond critical we got out so we could match the Chinese.
Obama was aware of the threat of China in every area but did fuck all.
