I believe that's exactly what lefties and Democrats did. They deliberately smeared a safe and effective treatment because they don't want a cure. They wanted to mess with the elections and now, they want to use the shut downs to reset society. That law that was passed, In California I think? Maybe New York - giving the governor the power to incarcerate anyone who can be a health threat is insanely vague and ripe for abuse. Remember the USSR used to label dissidents mentally ill and then send them for psychiatric treatment which had no medical value but was really just using medicine to torture political prisoners.

If there was a cure, and a very safe and effective cure, the left wouldn't be able to label people they don't like as health risks and incarcerate them for the sake of destroying political opposition.
