Sometimes it can be a disability that causes people to be unable to function in society. Sometimes it can give a person unique skills that you don't see in any normal person. Sometimes it even does both at the same time. But it depends on the individual and how it affects them specifically. Also, you can't catch or cause autism. You're either born with it or not.
