Its not hard and it will happen. When I was in Iraq we would get locals coming in and giving tips of suspected bomb makers and terrorists all the time. I would estimate 90-95% of these "tips" were false and just neighbors ratting on neighbors, trying to settle grudges.
I mean its just tragic. We knew it was mostly bullshit, but a tip is a tip. Theres a whole process for it, so after the initial "i need to report something" convo and hand off to intel, would never see them again. Well actually thats not entirely true, where I was at we did have a few Iraqi Karens who would come repeatedly and we would tell them to fuck off.
