To add, 60 minutes and other CBS like shows are pay to play vehicles. If you have money they will create your positive or negative narrative for your product, competitor or cause.
Many times they are suuuuper obvious about it too. The local station will do a "news" article highlighting a local business. Then you're watching other shows and you discover that same business has purchased prime time advertising with that local station. Not subtle at all.
The FBI shot and killed the kidnapping victim they were purportedly there to save a couple years ago, in Texas.

The are known as "feebs" throughout the LE agencies and military for a reason.
In cases like these, use an archive website to prevent the LSM from getting the traffic,
