I've honestly caused more damage at a frat house party!! I went to college during the rise of Guns & Roses during the reign of American thrash metal, we'd mosh pit at parties once one of our friends got control of the sound system. Much glorious fun.
I have been given to understand that there was indeed a Mad Shitter loose that day. That or some elected traitor exceeded the rated fudge load of their diaper.
There's scum on each side of political spectrum. When these mostly young fools realized there was not going to be a riot, their energy spilled over into the Capitol. If Trump wanted that Capitol sacked, all he needed to do was give the word and it would have been burned to the ground. A couple of broken windows, a busted door and some graffiti. 31March2020, DC riots resulted in streets burning and business being looted.
Even NYT admitted not one singular piece of art or statue damaged. Not even the benches were harmed, just turned over.
Fuck them & their broken glass. I guarantee that every piece of glass or door broken was by antifa fuck heads like that retard John Sullivan who’s seen on the Alex Jones banned.video in that little vestibule, right before our patriot was shot, and he’s slamming that window on the left.
The pic of furniture turned over that I saw was in front of a broken window. They show that before, from the other side, with the cops standing guard. They were the ones that put the furniture there, for a barricade. They just took a picture later with the makeshift barricade and broken glass and blamed Trump supporters for "damaging furniture."
Prob true. I saw a pic of big benches turned over in a bigger room though... it was in the NYT article yesterday “first look at capitol damage” or something like that.
They were huge beaches almost like pews in church. I thought, how many ppl would it take to turn those upside down & how slow that would be. Doesn’t pass smell test
There's way more damage at a Target on black Friday. The NYT had to feature a vacuum sucking up tear gas dust from a Capitol rug so they'd have a photo to go with their bs story.
Can confirm. I was in Minneapolis and saw the damage first hand. No way would Target employees been able to return to continue on with the business at hand...Minneapolis still looks like a warzone months later.
There was way more damage when Baracks mentor Bill Ayers bombed the Capitol in 1971. About $2 million in today's dollars. I haven't heard MSM comparing that event with Wednesdays event yet.
I saw an "aftermath" pic of swat walking in the capital rotunda, everything was fine. Imagine what BLM or some other violent Leftist group would have done to the art.
Honestly I've seen more damage at a frat house party.
This wasn't an insurrection. The Capitol police basically broke up a meme party gone bad.
Now, Shay's Rebellion. That was an insurrection.

My puppy has caused more damage.
Speaking of that, I hope there was a phantom pooper in there on Jan 6th.
Nothing phantom about the deuce they dropped on Schumer's desk.
It was the Butt-ler!
I am not sure it is true or not, but someone said (from this site, I believe) someone pooped on Chuck Schumer's desk. YUK
I have been given to understand that there was indeed a Mad Shitter loose that day. That or some elected traitor exceeded the rated fudge load of their diaper.
😂😂😂 My cats caused more than that too lol
I've caused more damage after eating at Taco Bell two days in a row.

Man I'm jealous
At my frat you wouldn't have had to take control, we were already raging
Yup.

But Muh BillIon DoLLaR RepAiR bIlLz!!
Congress are scum and they pocket more money from every spending bill than they pay out.
We should DEMAND that there is an audit of their spending on the “cleanup”
They won’t even audit the ballots so forget it. But still, they are for sure pocketing ca$h
New window: $1,200,000
The window probably costs $600 and Nancy pockets the rest for a new refrigerator/freezer full of ice cream.
Lol.
Busted window..........redacted Flipped over chair......redacted Dirty floor..................redacted Total cost..................redacted
Dont they vote for their own pay raises and/or perks also? One would think that would raise an ethical concern if true
yup they gave themselves all a raise in that last bill
Now THERES an idea: put congressional pay increases as referendums on the ballot.
Omg just think, that money could’ve gone to Israel. :(
Pakistan needs it more for their gender studies

There were hundreds of people inside.
They were able to get back to business a few hours later. How stupid can people be to think that this was actual wreckage and destruction?
... well I’ve seen them wearing masks alone in cars, while swimming in the ocean & even riding a Harley full speed, so you tell me
Pre-covid, some folks would ride their motorcycles with a bandana over their face to keep the bugs off.
The proper response to media is "Some people did something. Get over it"
They capital wasnt bombed like when BLM founder Susan Rosenberg bombed the capital to spread domestic terrorism. Smmfh
I think BLM and Antifa tried. There was a bomb found in the RNC, but it was diffused.
With all respect, source?

The article is mostly trash, but it does note pipe bombs.
Didn't some people shoot through the windows of a local RNC building somewhere? If I remember right it was closed and done at night.
Fucking moron committed a felony that would take a few people a couple hours to fix.

There was way more damage to Target by BLM rioters . . .
