The Capitol police let them in. It was a successful operation to stop the hearing where they were debating the EC ballots. Then, once it was stopped the spineless Republicans folded like a cheep card table from the pressure put on them by the press, quickly voting to accept all EC ballots even if they were contested and the States wanted to "Cure" that ballot.
