The insurrection act requires that you first formally declare who your insurgents are. Who are the insurgents? I've seen no declaration.

I think Trump has a loophole with his international election interference EO from 2018 and can use that as the basis for military intervention rather than a formal declaration of the IA. If that's the case then Trump's radio silence speaks volumes on why Dems are shitting their pants, and Trump's anti-chinese investments EO explains why Big Tech is currently going scorched earth. Unfortunately it's only speculation right now and I don't have anything concrete either.
