I disagree that our state legislatures failed. I think this was all part of the plan. They were never in session until after the electoral college, and none of the governors called them into session, despite massive public pressure. That's why you had hearings at holiday inns and landscaping businesses.

When these legislatures come back, starting tomorrow, it will be interesting to see if there is any movement. That's our last real hope unless there's something at SCOTUS that leads them to delay the inauguration.

I agree that a military solution seems unreasonable. But it is interesting that the dems have been trying to intervene on the insurrection act and nuclear nancy's rant to secdef this past friday point to the fact that there may be fear on their side that trump may use it.

I was at Harrisburg and Gettysburg demanding the Pa legislators to take action before their session was over. In addition the Pa legislators were not bound to the governor. They could have called themselves back into session. They failed us and we must never forget their names. They need to be recalled except those who signed the 76 letter.
