The insurrection act seems applicable to restoring law and order not correcting a fraudulent election. There’s no doubt the election was stolen but it was stolen thru orderly legal proceedings. The fact remains it was our douche bag state legislatures who screwed the pooch on this one. The Republican controlled states had all the power to rectify this fraudulent election but they failed to act. Second fail safe was our courts but they too fucked it up. Finally we had the Congress and Pence to act as a third protective layer but alas Republicans are SCUM.

I don’t see a military solution. Maybe if Trump could tie a foreign power (China) subverting our civil legal authorities, the other two branches of government. We know China influenced the election, has Biden bribed up the butt hole but is it enough to convince the military to act?

I disagree that our state legislatures failed. I think this was all part of the plan. They were never in session until after the electoral college, and none of the governors called them into session, despite massive public pressure. That's why you had hearings at holiday inns and landscaping businesses.

When these legislatures come back, starting tomorrow, it will be interesting to see if there is any movement. That's our last real hope unless there's something at SCOTUS that leads them to delay the inauguration.

I agree that a military solution seems unreasonable. But it is interesting that the dems have been trying to intervene on the insurrection act and nuclear nancy's rant to secdef this past friday point to the fact that there may be fear on their side that trump may use it.
