I’m a freshman in college but I only have an Instagram with 1 post compared to my friends’ hundred or sometimes thousands. I only have it cause people think you’re weird if you don’t have it. And to be fair, I know some odd birds who don’t have social media.
Well so I’m halfway there. A couple years ago I was like everyone else. Probably had about 40 posts on Instagram. And then something struck me my senior summer. I just had this creeping thought in the back of my mind. Do I want everyone I meet in college to know everything about my life? Do I want my new college friends to know who I hung out with in high school and what we did? Do I want girls I meet to feel like they know me simply by scrolling through my profile?
So before I went off to college, I purged my profile down to 1 post.

Deleted all my social media about 4-5 years ago, one of the best decisions, but yeah people think you're weird if you don't have it.
Try also being a guy who not only has 0 social, but also doesn't have tv service. That's always an interesting conversation I never like having.
Just graduated college I only have snapchat and a facebook with nothing on it.
