I bought a new laptop 2 weeks ago and I use dark mode here at TDW. If I am looking at HOT,NEW or RISING everything is fine. But when I click to read the comments and I scroll down below the actual post, the screen dims down..a lot. I have changed battery and power settings to maximum performance and every other thing I have read on the interweebs. I am actually pretty good with PC's but this has me stumped. Sweet Baby Jesus, help a Pede out..Im begging. I will post a link to the pc in question, in the comments.

Well the screen gets darker when you scroll down in dark mode - the header is light. Could be some sort of "power saving mode" - also try a different browser to see.
Finally, if you don't like it, it's Amazon - send it back.
