I am on the brink of losing faith. I know this whole “trust the plan” but either way I have some US bonds that are about 3 years out from fully maturing and in cashing out. I have no faith in the dollar.

Our government institutions are rotten. The Democrats are going to wield those institutions to attack and punish their political rivals. Obama did it and they got away with it.
They know they are untouchable. People who hate us are governing us. Our lives are in danger.
Can't blame you there. If this doesn't pan out it's going to be awfully hard to stay motivated and interested in politics.
