I warned you the left were talking about deplatforming us:

https://thedonald.win/p/11RhTareDr/they-are-trying-to-deplatform-th/c/

This is the fascist who did it: https://archive.is/4H4hu

Moderator statement: https://thedonald.win/p/11Rhd3rq6C/x/c/4DtEkhMRwZd

Thank you so much for the clarifying statement. So the gestapo were here to shut us down and two of our hosting companies were terminated today. Thank God that our intelligent admins have backup plans so that we're still online!

Spez: Oh and eat shit, commie bastards: https://thedonald.win/p/11Rhd4zgWO/message-for-the-fascists-that-tr/c/

Knowing that they're doing their best to purge every conservative communication site, it's uncertain how long this site will last even with our backup hosts, since fascist media pressure has a habit of making companies buckle. Gab is self-hosted, so perhaps they'd be willing to host our forums too?

Idea for discussion: What do you think about also creating a TOR onion censorship-resistant website as a final backup just in case? That way, even if the entire internet shuts us down, we'll literally still have a forum where they can never censor us.

Site is fine. One of our hosts is terminating us in a couple minutes (this will have no impact) and we also wanted to get away from another one.

Yuck. A furry who read the red team manual and has no life.

Honestly, at this point myself and any others here who are proficient in networks and Python, or cybersecurity should all go apply at DHS and with the State Department. Mike Pompeo’s official Secretary site has job listings.

Maybe if there’s enough of us we can keep eyes out for actual domestic terrorists and get involved. We all keep saying to get involved. I feel like our best offense is our tech nerd Patriots.

link? I'm really good with Python

trismegistus 3 points ago +3 / -0

https://careers.state.gov/work/available-jobs/

Got this directly from a Pompeo statement^^

Scroll down for the available IT jobs.

They are pretty cutthroat, which makes it tough, but I’m sure some of us are equipped for the job. I haven’t checked in a few days but see if something suits your skillset. For what I can do, the pay is comparable to what I get at my current workplace. I’d have to relocate to Virginia though to take the job. I may consider it and apply in the summer.

I doubt they will at this time, as that will worry potential new ones. No burning bridges until 100% independent would be a smart policy. Some of these hosts might just be getting forced by other clients or networks, it is not guaranteed they are at fault. They may be victims themselves.

6

While I'm quite curious myself, I prefer they didn't share any information about (ex)hosts.

Any piece of information could be used by bad actors to track them down, and given what has been happening with conservative voices recently, I think it would be a bad idea.

8
svartchimpans [S] 8 points ago +8 / -0

The fascist brownshirts already have the information about all hosts. They are the ones who unmasked the hosts and reported our free speech to their REEEEE-departments.

7

Yeah... I get it now. Thanks for clarifying!

Tor was fucked up for hours this morning.

15
tufftoffee 15 points ago +15 / -0

Tor??? How is that even possible?

18
WinMoreReeLess 18 points ago +18 / -0

Trying to remember the exact details, but there is an issue with ToR that is one party owns over 50% of the exit nodes then the whole security model fails. Well, the US government owns more than 50% of the nodes and always has...

8
redbeard 8 points ago +8 / -0

No, but timing attacks against the Tor network are a real avenue and one that has been known / explored / likely exploited for a long, long time. That "simply" requires having a bunch of nodes in the network (not exit nodes, traffic nodes) so you can compare timing between different paths and use it to guesstimate origin paths for messages.

3
james43552352345 3 points ago +3 / -0

AFAIK, the TOR network is not compromised. Most of the attacks that the NSA and the such have developed have been focused on deanonymizing based on different attacks like vulnerabilities in the browser itself. TOR devs patch them as soon as they're found.

8
jarvis 8 points ago +8 / -0

I have no clue. I don't understand enough about it.

https://darknetdaily.com/?p=1030

21
svartchimpans [S] 21 points ago +21 / -0

I read through it. It says that Tor's web address system consists of 10 (hidden) servers that communicate with each other every hour to establish a consensus about how to route traffic on the network. Someone has been sending them so much traffic that their internet bandwidth is completely filled up and they've been unable to communicate with each other, so the consensus and therefore all addresses are wiped since there's no consensus. In other words it's a DDOS attack against the servers holding the list of address routes. It'll be solved somehow but it may take a few days. They're saying it's done by some Darknet marketplace that is fighting against another Darknet marketplace. Childish stuff.

4
Neonentity 4 points ago +4 / -0

Darknet marketplaces hassling?

There are no coincidences.

2
Haroldiam 2 points ago +2 / -0

This post brings up a good point about links. A bad actor can post links to malicious hosts, which would expose users IPs from this site. As long as the URL is not unique to this site and the no ref is used they should be fine though. Not this link, just links in general

3
deleted 3 points ago +4 / -1
1
PITPatriot 1 point ago +1 / -0

Tor's been compromised since before '16.

If they control more than 30% of all exit nodes, they can break it.

20
svartchimpans [S] 20 points ago +20 / -0

Damn that's a VERY good idea. A Tor onion service as a backup plan would be super intelligent right now.

Tor and tails are good terms to search for, basically an onion service is like a website that can only be accessed from a tor web browser. Traditionally this is referred to as the darkweb

28
MarcusAurelius 28 points ago +28 / -0

Revoking SSL certificate is pretty easily remedied. But it doesn't have to be tied to the DNS provider.

4
MemeWarVet 4 points ago +4 / -0

How does revoking the SSL cert affect anything? You can still access if it's HTTP just have to jump through one more hoop no?

2
MarcusAurelius 2 points ago +2 / -0

So, revoking the SSL cert will give a warning that the certificate is invalid. When this happens, you don't know for sure if it's the real website, or you are suffering from a man in the middle attack. Also, a certificate provider will revoke a certificate if the private key is compromised.

As you say, you can still access the website using HTTP (or even HTTPS, you just aren't sure that it's a valid certificate). And you will have to override the warning with any modern browser.

1
benethorpl 1 point ago +1 / -0

you dont even have to jump really, it's just your credentials would be flying unencrypted through the net. Only matters if the website or your network is compromised, or if your ISP is cucked.

8
ethan123 8 points ago +11 / -3

TheDonald. One appears to be on Epik hosting

7
JKillen 7 points ago +7 / -0

Yea but do they work because during a Ddos they didn't. I tried .won .xyz...

What gives.

12
ethan123 12 points ago +12 / -0

.one and .xyz and .space would only go live if the .win domain gets dropped

1
JKillen 1 point ago +1 / -0

Thanks frens. I thought as much

5
Burninator 5 points ago +5 / -0

They will only use those domain names if .win's domain gets shut down or unregistered. Those domains are registered though different companies as backups.

They only have one set of servers so Ddos attacks are handled by cloudflair and not by switching domain names.

Its CF SSL -> TDW SSL from the looks of that img. (Best protection for everyone here as CF wont be able to read the forwarded/proxied requests/data

This sounds like a violation of one of the following: The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA); The Stored Communications Act (SCA); The Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA); and The Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA).

If you think we can identify this entity, I’d be happy to discuss suing them. I work on contingency cases only. Let me know....

I like that idea a lot. Also, many of us already have home servers and we can spin a VM or Container in a distributed architecture and protect it via VPN and there's no way they can take us down.

The only one I know for sure right now was OVH Canada. A (literal) fascist unmasked that host and contacted them to deplatform us.
