The Vatican is it's own country. A recognized country. The Swiss guards would defend their country to the death. Italy would literally be invading a foreign country. The diplomatic problems from doing that alone are staggering.

You cannot just take over a country or send in military units into a foreign country. They'd be occupying foreign soil and I don't think that would go well with Europe or the US.

Here is one Storm Camera angle from inside the Vatican City. The one showing 2 Military Guys caught on camera. The camera here updates every few minutes but doesn't let you scrub through by certain time. They have to be constantly watched and documented unless someone has access to the live footage.

This is the Popes tomb. I covered this last night and made a video. We wont get much information here other than an exact time the power comes back on.
