Insurrection act is false. NG troops are real. You're dead on about the news being super awkward/creepy/fake. The social media purge is something I expected for the last 9 months, but not like this.
To be clear, I don't expect any sort of QAnon style Trump saves the day stuff to happen. But the reason everything is super weird and awkward is because we're all being fucked with by media, social media, democrats, etc. Just look at how Trump was banned for inciting violence, except they can't find a single sound-bite out of context of him doing that.
This was PLANNED, obviously, and only partially worked as planned. They successfully got the capital stormed, but didn't get a good sound bite, or even great footage, or much damage to show how evil Drumf supporters are.
We're in the middle of a coup, so don't be surprised by anything in the next 2 weeks ... or I guess next several months a least.
