I think them using the not rising again argument is to appeal to their base for their extreme actions. Them trying to do both 25th amendment and impeachment, plus all the censorship and classifying the 6th as a terrorist act is very telling imo
This. Whoever is saying it’s just them doing what they always wanted to do isn’t paying attention or naive. They’ve “always wanted to do this” for control, but even still, there’s slower more tactful ways to boil the frog. They went full coordinated blitz. They’re panicking over something that they can’t stop. They’re covering their tracks because “my violence”, but it’d thinly veiled. Mark my words, they are trying to get out in front of something, control the narrative and suppress what’s about to happen, and at the cost of not caring whose feathers they ruffle in the long run, because even normies are smelling the rot.
