But why is the Deep State so adamant about trying to get this done?

I will say this much. Nobody knows what the hell is going on. The absolute chaos in Washington is abnormal. Maybe they're scared to death or maybe they're emboldened. But at this point there's nothing anyone can do. On January 20th one of two things will finally be acknowledge: either Trump is a strategic genius or Trump is a complete fool who got taken by the swamp and couldn't fight back. It's as simple as that
