That’ll make the candidates even better.

Objecting is literally in the Constitution. That's part of the rule of law.

Peaceful-Riot [S] 34 points ago +34 / -0

ALTHOUGH THEY SHOULDN'T BE CONTRIBUTING TO CANDIDATES ANYWAY

...If I had an account with this garbage company, I'd be canceling it first thing in the morning. Glad I don't.

26
infojunkie07 26 points ago +26 / -0

isnt objecting also a part of the accepted law? If i recall this is the group that recommended Obamas cabinet right?

16
Susurro 16 points ago +16 / -0

Yes, it's part of the Constitutional process. This is so retarded.

Only if democrats do it.

1
Sl0re10 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes; dems have objected in the recent past. Video available.

21
Dreadnot 21 points ago +21 / -0

But objecting isn't illegal. Democrats do it every time they lose.

"Respect the Rule of Law" Says one of the biggest fucking criminals on the planet! The money this company has had to pay in fines because of it's criminality could pay the debt of 1/2 of America. Oh yeah, and EAT SHIT CITI!

4
Peaceful-Riot [S] 4 points ago +5 / -1

Pretty sure these idiots supported BLM too

16
Nameless_Mofo 16 points ago +16 / -0

Fuck Citibank. I will never do business with them or Bank of America again. They can both go die in a fire.

8
CisSiberianOrchestra 8 points ago +8 / -0

I don't trust the big banks. I do all my banking through a small, locally-owned chain of credit unions.

4
unclebobinator 4 points ago +4 / -0

I have a Citibank credit card. I think I'll go max it out and never pay a dime on it.

Won't hurt their bottom line but all it will do is hurt my credit score. Which I don't care about. Fuck them, going to buy a new gun or three and as much ammo as I can find. Thanks for the free stuff ShittyBank.

2
jme5343 2 points ago +2 / -0

Chase is just as bad.

-6
Tazlar -6 points ago +3 / -9

Well hopefully you can afford to pay cash for any house or car you'd like in the future, you certainly won't be getting another loan ever again.

6
Nameless_Mofo 6 points ago +7 / -1

Are you shitting me? There's a whole lot more banks than just those two out there, both national and regional. Plus a shit load of credit unions. And none of them have to get approval to issue me a loan from either of these institutions.

I've banked at credit unions for 30 years, and I've loved every one of them. Low interest rates, great service, and the members own it, not shareholders.

Again, Citibank and BofA can both go die in a fucking fire.

3
Tazlar 3 points ago +4 / -1

Right, but they're all checking your credit history and they really don't like to see non-payment or late payments... Especially anything sent to collections., that's what I was getting at. Not that you can only get loans from 2 banks, that's ridiculous, of course.

1
Nameless_Mofo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sure, I wasn't talking about stiffing them on a credit card balance, because yes they can ding your credit then, and also send debt collectors after you. I said I would never do business with them again. No bank accounts with them, no credit cards or mortgages either. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, including my current credit union which has all my banking including my mortgage, and with whom I am EXTREMELY happy.

I have my reasons for hating BofA especially, and I am dead serious when I say I would not bank with them again if they were the last bank on earth.

2
Tazlar 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ha, well I just realised I actually replied to the wrong comment initially.

"Fine with me because I stopped payments on ALL my credit cards, when all the banks donated to Black Lives Matter! When they call and asked me for a payment, I tell them to talk to black lives matter because that’s what they sent all of their money! Eat shit commie!" -ThisIsHowItStarts

Is what my original comment was meant as a reply to.

1
Numpties 1 point ago +2 / -1

Hmm, save up a bit for a house or pay three times the price, let me think. Nope, would rather pay for it outright.

1
jme5343 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agreed. All of the people here calling other Americans sheep and then continuing to run up credit card bills buying things they don’t need to impress people they don’t like are just as much of the herd as those they disdain. Quit buying. Save your money. Live humbly.

TrumpTrain45 13 points ago +13 / -0

We need a "corporate fascism" flair.

2
The_kool_mom 2 points ago +2 / -0

We need a list. I don't want to give these companies my money.

6
StMike 6 points ago +6 / -0

Didn't know it was illegal to object to something

6
jdog 6 points ago +6 / -0

Citibank is owned by Bin Talal. They also picked Obama's entire cabinet. They are scumbags.

5
ClaytonMagnet 5 points ago +5 / -0

Note to big banks and corporations - we are keeping a list, too.

5
Jack_HinsonTN 5 points ago +5 / -0

Jesus. Are they trying to do ALL the steps at once?? Do I need to worry about gas chambers next weekend??

6
Peaceful-Riot [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's the great purge. It's just begun.

Imagine when they push medicare for all, then deny conservatives access to it.

4
eet789 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's the worst thing that can happen. I do not agree with the author's view about China, but well, which were described in this series is very plausible.

2
Jack_HinsonTN 2 points ago +2 / -0

Scary historical parallel.

5
Kenrailae 5 points ago +5 / -0

So here's what these fuckers don't get. They're still giving us al the things we want because banker and corporate money doesn't belong in politics.

Trump is making a list and taking names, TRAITORS will wish that they had kept their mouths shut. It isn't going to be pretty!

2
DudeNoOne 2 points ago +2 / -0

I smell FEC violation

2
FireannDireach 2 points ago +2 / -0

Aren't they mostly UAE owned?

Anyway, credit unions, pedes.

2
AdoviFreon 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's a provable lie. They never did that for anyone who supported BLM.

2
muslimporn 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually, if you're preventing people from objecting, you're going against the rule of law. Perhaps you should read the law beforehand? Citibank will have to refuse to service itself and shutdown business.

2
AllTheWayTrump 2 points ago +2 / -0

Good. Stop corporate donations period. It’s fucking bribery.

1
tellittothedead1 1 point ago +2 / -1

Good. Making America great again by taking the big corporation contribution out of politics. Love it!!!

Precedent for GOP primaries and subsequent GOP/MAGA party candidates in 2022 midterm elections.

1
FriendFromCanada 1 point ago +1 / -0

Also, there's no way to drag them in front of a committee now is there? Can the minority leader do that?

There will have to be a reliable bank created for this and other folks in anticipation of that, it looks like.

1
Numpties 1 point ago +1 / -0

What are all your thoughts on these contributions and huge amounts of money going into campaigning and elections? My thought is it is ridiculous, but I would like to hear arguments across the board to learn.

1
Trumpnado_warning 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fuck off, Shitti-Bank

1
FlyinHeadlock 1 point ago +1 / -0

Love it. Again, another epic moment of the big school bus backfiring with black smoke up and down the neighborhood. Kids are all laughing.

Go right ahead. The joke will be on Citibank. I would cancel their card right now if I had it.

1
suckmycorona 1 point ago +1 / -0

Corporate should not be allowed to contribute and fundraising groups that are created to subvert campaign law should be banned as well

Cancelled my Citi CC 10 minutes ago.

I have stopped donating to all members of the US fascist cabal...forever.

We have memories and morals.

1
Isaiah53 1 point ago +1 / -0

Put your banking in local banks, which invest locally, and which don't pool their deposits into big-bank investment pools.

Their websites should tell you exactly where and how they invest. If they don't, call and ask.

1
Romanfun61 1 point ago +1 / -0

1

1

I am sure the Activist Investors (SOROS funded) are demanding it.

1

Switching banks and browsers is fun!

1
panic_scam 1 point ago +1 / -0

I’m sure Citibank is just fine being the sole company for the entire federal government travel card program though. Fucking communists.

1

Government Travel Cards are issued through citibank. They should be dropped for another Usurer... I mean lender.

1
Fizbin7 1 point ago +1 / -0

Since when do political leaders in a free republic require the approval of bankers to exist? It is bankers who require the approval of working men to be solvent.

General strike January 21. Spread the word.

1

You must take on the mark of the beast in order to participate in the economy

-> it's in the bible

1
DearCow 1 point ago +1 / -0

OMG a bank getting politically involved in evil??? Remember after 911; the whole "Puts on American Airlines' stock - if we find out who made the Puts we may find who is funding the terrorists"? That story went away quickly didn't it.

1
TearofLys 1 point ago +1 / -0

Those brave congressmen don't need donations from some Party of Davos megacorp. They have us standing right behind them.

1
AdoviFreon 1 point ago +1 / -0

BTW, never get a citi credit card. They are by far and away the most litigious bank in the USA. They'll sue you over $5,000.

1
Stallion 1 point ago +1 / -0

Time to cancel my card.

1
Rubberbunnies 1 point ago +1 / -0

Citibank is owned by a goatfucker and they picked Obama’s cabinet.

I’m just surprised this wasn’t done sooner.

Larry Summers. That's all you need to know.
