The institution of the police has been corrupted badly enough that the presence of some good officers is now irrelevant. The argument used to be that there were only a small number of bad apples, and now we’re being told not to turn our backs on them because there’s a few good apples. That bunch has spoiled. The few “good ones” at this point are either complicit or apathetic as their fellows break their oaths. I’m fucking done backing the blue. If they ever want my support in the future, they’ll have to fucking earn it.
Any cop with a sense of morals, and who actually meant it when they took their oath, would have quit by now.
I think all the oath keepers have quit but not all that are left are there to walk on you....they simply want a pay check. I agree that the establishment is in need of reform that opens employment records to the public. No sweeping constitutional violations under the hr rug!

If you do harm to innocent people because you were “just following orders”, you ARE the bad guy. I stand 100% behind my statement. I know what cops do when push comes to shove. They do not protect the people, they protect whomever pays them. I could tell you a few stories but this is not the time. Just remember what they did when Antifa and BLM destroyed our cities. The people need better recourse for bad cops. Otherwise whole depts get infected. Good ones either quit or get corrupted
