3
Carry_Your_Name 3 points ago +3 / -0

I know this might not be the right thing to say, but seriously, is there any link to check out Q posts? Just curious. There's rarely any real information that makes sense these days. I desperately want a peek behind the smokes and mirrors. I desperately look for a dose of hope, even if it's fake.

2
The_kool_mom 2 points ago +2 / -0

Q posts are long, cryptic questions and there are thousands of them. Your best bet is to go to Rumble.com and look up videos with "Q proofs" in the title, and decide for yourself. All the big Q people got purged from youtube, so don't bother there. ( i wouldn't call myself a believer, I'm just an observer. Waiting, watching and just a bit of prepping.)

1

1
Loyal2Liberty 1 point ago +1 / -0

It is pretty normal for Q to not post for extended periods of time, especially when there are actions going on. Many speculate that the military and POTUS are pretty busy in the background right now. As Trump said after the 2016 election: "complicated business"

Me before 2000: "The network news tries to figure out the facts, and the conspiracy theorists on alternate media just make trouble"

Me now: "The network news just makes trouble, and alternate media tries to figure out the facts."

26
bangbus 26 points ago +27 / -1

The network news pushes a completely farcical narrative on a lot of issues. The network news is 100% responsible for the rise of people like Rush and the entirety of the alternative news arena because half of the shit is spun so hard that it's simply not believable if you have a functioning brain.

1
yeldarb1983 1 point ago +1 / -0

"if it bleeds, it leads" as they say...

Come to think of it, that would be a helluva protest chant at news agencies. And yes I mean peaceable assembly in this case to show one's disdain for the organization in question.

Not that the people looking for something juicy to pin on trump supporters would care.

26
ValkyrieHoneybadger 26 points ago +26 / -0

Yeah...and that's why normies and the TDS afflicted refuse to wake up. They have to accept that their memories are based on a false reality. Its just too much for some to swallow that big red pill.

13
Peachykeen74 13 points ago +13 / -0

With each passing day, that red pill gets bigger.

This next wave of normies is going to need a fork and some Mylanta to go with that spicy horse pill.

7
RussianAgent13 7 points ago +7 / -0

their memories are based on a false reality

Our mental model of the world is like a house of cards. Everything we learn is stacked on top of something below it, and something that challenges the foundations of other cards could knock down the entire house. Having their mental model destroyed sends people into despair and confusion, for a time unable to tell what's true and what's false.

That's why our mind often refuses to accept anything that poses a danger to what's already known to be true. New knowledge HAS to fit the existing model, or it's thrown out by any psychological means available. (denial, rage, ignoring, coping, ridicule)

7
this_mortal_coil 7 points ago +7 / -0

This happened to me 11 years ago. I could no longer reconcile what I saw to be true with what I was told to be true. I tried parallel tracks of studying philosophy and then also tracking reality and current events with new eyes.

Putting some building blocks in place for critical thought really helped, although taking the red pill is not all it's cracked up to be. I can be cynical and nihilist at times. My refusal to waiver to normie sensibilities has cost me countless relationships, but I just keep moving. You can't disregard the truth because some don't want to see it.

4
JonathanE 4 points ago +4 / -0

I've been lucky, red-pilled for a lot of years now. So much so that the blue-pill world is quite painful to process, it's that fucking weird to me.

Not gonna lie, for me it was pretty funny.

I was just out of high school when Trump announced his presidency, and was very socially conservative but for some reason was kind of irked by Donald Trump when I saw him on the news. Even back then I distrusted all news and saw their tendency to misportray so I looked into him myself and actually kind of liked him.

Time would pass and I'd hear stories of how Trump supporters were attacking minorities, and all sorts of nonsense. So I was like "alright, let's see it". Was bored that weekend and printed out a ticket and drove to go see him, while I liked Trump I knew early on he was attracting some weird types and I was kind of a bad individual at the time and was sort of looking for a fight either with leftists that would arrive or the so-called "neo-nazis".

What I got when I arrived was actually a pretty pleasant surprise. Everyone was very friendly, everyone was all smiles, people shook my hand when we'd meet in line and we'd talk. There were people of all races and what not there, blacks and Hispanics and Asians. Camera crews were only recording whites though (fake news of course).

All in all they were much better people than all the leftists I'd met who always seemed to have this air of misery and hate and disdain for everyone.

There was a big scare and Trump got pulled off the stage and has to leave to his next rally. I stayed and talked to a bunch of people and a group of black ladies asked if I'd join them to pray for Donald Trump and it was all around a cool experience.

Went to Barnes & Noble afterward and picked up a copy of "The Art of the Deal". Liberal clerk seemed pissed! I sat down and had a coffee and ran into another Hispanic conservative who introduced me to Dinesh D'Souza's content over the course of an hour or so.

All around really nice experience that night and changed my views a lot. I wish more could go through the same. Instead they're being lied to by mainstream media and big tech as well as Hollywood. It's a war of information and lies.

8
trump_is_lord 8 points ago +8 / -0

4

Why are judges protecting criminals?

11
americandrunk 11 points ago +11 / -0

Wait until you learn about how much of the history that we are taught is nothing but propaganda and lies used to control us.

5
Carry_Your_Name 5 points ago +5 / -0

Just take the civil war for example. What was the real reason that led to it? Fundamental economic conflict and dispute over western territory. If anybody tells you that it's about slavery, racism, liberty, human right, blah blah blah, it's all propaganda.

2
trump_is_lord 2 points ago +2 / -0

Do you have any history books you recommend?

4
Peachykeen74 4 points ago +4 / -0

I DON’T recommend The People’s History of the United States (Howard Zinn) -if you’ve got kids, keep that crap away from them. They’re putting it in schools now.

Dave Barton (“Wallbuilders”) likes to collect primary sources. He seems solid.

Federalist Papers is good reading. I think the name of the game is PRIMARY SOURCES.

2
D0NNIE_DARK0 2 points ago +2 / -0

Actually you should read Zinn because you will encounter these revisionists in real life. Some of his sourcing is so bad it deserves to be adjudicated and debunked.

It’s best to know history from different angles. The truth is pretty discernible and anyone who wants to make it neat and tidy usually has an agenda.

2
Peachykeen74 2 points ago +2 / -0

I respect what you’re saying. I’m not well-verses enough on my primary sources to do the digging. It’s tough hen I don’t have much time to dedicate to a search. :/

1
D0NNIE_DARK0 1 point ago +1 / -0

Gotcha. Stick with primary then. Do the best you can is all you need to do.

2
trump_is_lord 2 points ago +2 / -0

Thank you for the advice. Out of curiosity, what do you think about David McCullough's 1776?

2
OhLollyLollyPop 2 points ago +2 / -0

Any older books. Stuff from the 1950s, pre-1965, even older ones.

2
ConsrvspkgNJ 2 points ago +2 / -0

I would also recommend if traveling in the Deep South, go to antique book stores for older (pre-1950) history text books for high school. Go to the chapters dealing with The War of Northern Aggression and see what REALLY happened.

0
americandrunk 0 points ago +1 / -1

That is a dangerous game that we cannot play here.

You will bump into it eventually on your own. It's all around you.

1
OhLollyLollyPop 1 point ago +1 / -0

I think what we learned in the 1950s was much more accurate than what kids get now.

What? I've known the goverment is corrupt since I was a teenager. I realised I was being indoctrinated and spoonfed lies from the education system as far back as 4th grade. Its not hard to see through the bullshit. Though... The amount of news and information on TD is amazing. This place has become an obsession for me.

2
D0NNIE_DARK0 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think there’s knowing it’s corrupt and learning just how corrupt it really is. I also suspected a lot of things in early elementary school but I didn’t anticipate the depth of evil I recognize now.

Both are great movies.

7

7
tangerinedream1776 7 points ago +7 / -0

Interstellar. Fucked my mind up when I first saw it.

12
ThunderInYourHeart 12 points ago +12 / -0

The ending to that movie pissed me off.

The guy literally saves humanity, his daughter gets all the credit, and then when he walks into the room and meets his grandchildren and great-grandchildren for the first time, everyone’s like “oh hi.”

2
UwUwU 2 points ago +2 / -0

Didnt his daughter spend decades saving humanity lmao

2
ThunderInYourHeart 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yeah but she wouldn’t have been able to do it without him flying into a black hole and basically sacrificing his life.

6
CisSiberianOrchestra 6 points ago +6 / -0

I've never seen a Christopher Nolan movie that I didn't like. Tenet was probably his weakest film, and it was still pretty damn good.

5
ChrisSuperDude 5 points ago +5 / -0

I'll put it this way, Dark Knight Rises at it's core was a bad movie, though currently a very relevant movie, but because Christopher Nolan made it, it ended up being good because he put his spin and directing style on it. That's how I see how good of a director he is. I haven't seen Tenet though so I can't comment on it.

3
1776ThereIsaidIt 3 points ago +3 / -0

2001: Fucks with my head. When Dave gets transported to the creepy bedroom with no windows and the Victorian style furniture it affects me. I still haven't figured out why.

There was an art museum in L.A. that recreated that room and had it on display for a few months. I wish I had known about it. I would have gone to it to confront my fear.

3
ruff_dingus 3 points ago +3 / -0

If you read the book (which was written with Kubrick alongside the screenplay), it explains the hotel room scene a lot better.

5
dtm123 [S] 5 points ago +5 / -0

Interstellar. Definitely both great films.

6
pmyourcovfefes 6 points ago +6 / -0

I was introduced to TD mid 2016. Someone kept telling me about it for months and I was like no I have nothing in common with internet nerds. Wtf would I enjoy there? (They told me there were good memes and I was still at a point I thought they were pronounced mem-ays so yeah)

😂😂😂 I think it was June or July I finally ventured onto TD. I’ve always been conservative but this site woke me up. I was a normie; I remember watching 60 minutes when Paul Ryan became speaker and thought he seemed reasonable.

Whew did TD open my eyes to the corruption and level of fuckedupness. It was the Wikileaks dumps and the autists that did the reading. I was so normie that I thought reading them would get a visit from the fbi so I so smartly opened them in private mode on my Samsung Android 😂😂😂 yeah I know.

This site is important and there’s a reason big tech keeps looking to shut us down. My IQ is over 140 but when you’re raising a family, volunteering in the kid’s sports, and working full time it’s hard to keep up with things. Especially if you never know things are that screwed up.

Trump started a movement and it worked because we are the movement. We will keep it going and we have to fight back against what the democrats are going to push in the next 2 years. They have a super majority and will pass every radical law they can.

This is America and we will stand for the freedoms this country was founded on and stand against the infringements this administration will start trying to pass.

Anyone have an over/under on when they go for the guns? My guess is 6 months.

If you like space and mindfucks, you should watch it. The VFX team got awards and commendations because the black hole they created was so realistic that it helped actual, real world scientists understand black holes better. The movie is all around fantastic, I highly recommend it. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it takes about half an hour to get going but it's a necessary half an hour.

I watched Jordan Peterson's interview with Matthew McConaughey this weekend. I had no idea he was so introspective. Seems like a decent dude. I surprised Hollywood hasn't canceled him yet.

What percentage of Biden voters do you think know how many towers fell down in New York in on 9/11? I'd bet 10%.

I remember visiting r/the_donald back when it was still up. This was in 2016.

My redpill came to me in very small doses if you will.

I always knew to keep my distance from mainstream news, but it wasn't until 2016 that things became more and more polarized.

One of my first doses was regarding Columbus Day. I remember as a kid that Columbus Day was a day where there'd be no school. That's no longer the case sadly.

I kept lurking on the subreddit over time, until I finally made my first post there. The rest is history.
