Im not telling you to turn into a Doomer, just to relax and not count on this happening, only to have your world come crashing down if it doesnt. Theres a LOT of hype around it.
Yes it is very true that things dont add up right now - Harris has not yet resigned her Senate seat (unless I missed it) Pelosi is allegedly freaking the fuck out, Trumps speech was clearly not a concession speech, Trump has gone dark, and there have been no real victory celebrations. These things could be explained by Democrats knowing or suspecting theyre fucked. Or there could be explanations for most of it that dont fit our hopes and dreams right now.
Pelosi is a vindictive bitch and may just want to get that last jab in as an 'I WIN'. Very much within her MO. She's almost out of time to do it. Or, she/they suspect Trump has enough for IA and is trying to stop it via impeachment.
Trump's silence (not total) may just be because he is working very hard at doing a shit ton of things in his last couple of weeks, just like Obama did in his final days. It would be odd for him to jump on a plane and not return to the White House, but maybe he wants to be left alone to get these things done. Pardons, contracts, appointments; a lot of it can be undone but it also bogs down the Biden administration with undoing it all.
We're all looking for signs of IA; normal power outages and internet outages are being viewed as evidence of things happening. Its not. Yes the outage in Pakistan was massive; massive outages not unheard of though. Maybe theyre signs, probably not.
Im not saying to lose hope, Im just saying to take it in small doses. Focus on what to do going forward; taking care of your family, taking care of yourself, going to work and kicking ass living your life just like we did under Obama from 2008 to 2016. If we get an IA, FUCKING GREAT lets party. If we dont, I dont want to see my frens crushed and dejected.
Im taking my own advice; Im a salaried employee that works M-F 8-5 and I went to the office to grab some things and do a little work today. I did quite a few little things and prepped to work remotely this week. Im focused on my home improvement projects and my family. I have taken very small doses of hopium myself, but I also understand that its a long shot.

I agree with the spirit of what you’re saying: We have to live our lives regardless of what’s happening with Trump and the presidency. We really have no control over what’s happening or going to happen. I will say, however, that I can’t be that nonchalant about this situation. We need something major to happen in order to turn this thing around and that means IA or EO at this point. I don’t think people fully understand that the Left is going to fundamentally transform this country if they get complete control. It’s pretty scary to think about.
I would definitely expect one of the goofiest nonsensical things Ive seen here today to come from someone with a username like yours.
