Really? You want to repeal the only thing giving US a voice!!??

Repeal article 230 which protects social media companies from liability and...

  1. Parlor will never see the light of day after Amazon drops them!
  2. Fox News opinion online... gone!
  3. OAN online...gone!
  4. Newsmax online... gone!
  5. thedonald.win (A freaking social media platform!!)... gone!!!

If Section 230 is repealed, I guaran-damn-tee you that the RADICAL LEFT will come at us with legal guns a-blazin'! All it's gonna take is a redpill with money to burn <cough> Soros </cough> and we are back to using printed leaflets!!!

The only thing allowing us PATRIOTS and FREE THINKERS to speak our mind is This. Damn. Article. FFS!!!

F Soros! F the left! Viva la revolucion!!!

That is all.

Umm, 1 is happening with 230. 5 is being threatened. But, hey, I guess keep 230 for reasons?

I disagree. One of the most critical parts of Sec. 230 (and the one that has had the most impact on us) is that it gives Big Tech wayyyyy to much power to sit on the fence of Platform and Publisher. A platform isn't legally liable for the content that it hosts that originates from the public, but it also cannot censor opinions it dislikes. A publisher is free to silence wrongthink and censor opinions all it likes, but in turn it is liable for the content it hosts. Sec. 230 lets them have their cake and eat it too.

This is the dumbest post given current circumstances.

You realize that sites like Parler are being held to task for their content as opposed to twitter which is letting posts like 'Hang Mike Pence' slide.

Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg are playing judge jury executioner now

Repeal isn't the correct action. It just needs to be updated. Even so simply as you take post down you pay the individual $1M and the government $1M just for being stupid and for the government to waste your money on something stupid.

Yes, I'm not the brightest bulb. Alabama schools suck!

The point I was trying to make, in brief, is that without 230 we don't stand a chance!

There is WAY more money out there to silence dissenting voices than to protect it. At least with 230 we have something to back us up.

The first lawsuit against TT.w for fomenting violence will shut it down!

Not a shill, not a cuck, just a guy.

We can still revoke it from Twitter and Facebook while other platforms with integrity can still utilize it

No, you can't!

It is a blanket law that covers all or none.

If I am wrong I apologize

Repeal means if Pres. Trump starts his own media company or social media platform, he won’t be held liable for what we say. Right now big tech is already kicking us off because they claim we’re a liability. But the repeal allows us to have a voice and big tech isn’t responsible for the content so they won’t censor us.

Yea Section 230 repeal is being pushed by the glowies then they can use draconian terror/porn laws to shut down any open forums.
