Believing everything is a LARP is just as bad as believing nothing is a LARP.
Believing everything is a LARP is just as bad as believing nothing is a LARP.
Believing everything is a LARP is just as bad as believing nothing is a LARP.
This is a larp
This is a larp.
BOTH OF THOSE ARE JUST LARPING
no u
I came here to say this, fucking LARPers.
it's fuckin' nuts. I think TDW went back to watching fox news and believing what they hear.
We have to rationalize our way through things...not believing, but asking ourselves, "why" because we aren't gonna get anything real on the news.
EXACTLY! This pisses me off. It's like people are offended if they have to use their brain to actually work through problems. It’s like they have to have everything 100% verified by mommy before even considering the hypothesis. Sorry, but these people are fucking weak little children. Use your fucking brain you lazy fucking bastards. In an information war, the hive mind that solves problems most effectively wins. By refusing to use your brain to evaluate hypotheses, you are no different than welfare whores who parasitically live off the product of other peoples labor.
If a person could tell me the one media outlook that digs and gets it right, then It's be so much easier.
Otherwise, we just have to discern EVERYTHING
Honestly embarrassing that it doesn't take more than wild claims to get us distracted.
The internet has never been filled with so much false information.
The chans autist meme was due to crowdsource ability of distributed professionals able to sniff things out more rapidly than any paid team, because they were doing it for fun on their own time for lulz. The moneyed interests solved that.
For whatever reason the internet has spammed with false rabbit holes that waste time and lead no where. Often provides opportunity to slander people on the right trail as conspiracy wingnuts. You've got to watch and pick your shots carefully now, track the rabbit and visibly see it go into the hole and unload all your ammo on that one.
I DONT KNOW THIS JUST SOUNDS LIKE A BUNCHA HOPIUM TO ME GUYS
Every post from a random internet guy in Kazakhstan must be investigated.
Use common sense. LARP lacks common sense.
...Sounds like a perfectly reasonable and intelligent question.
That would be a breath of fresh air. It would also help newbies start exploring and understanding the nature of critical thinking.
That seems too logical
Amen!!!!!!!!!
How hard is it to say:
I believe this is a larp because XYZ. And show some evidence to support why you don't think the story is real/accurate.
???
It's way easier to make something up, than to debunk something that's made up. I think it's perfectly okay to start with "please show receipts."
Most of us critical of QAnon want the stuff to be true, and have little incentive to debunk things, but we've watched QAnon stuff flop over and over and over and over.
I think asking for receipts is fair. Better than someone just saying Larp.
I just find it rude and dismissive. Asking for receipts is a lot more polite and opens the door for a dialogue and a conversation.
And I'm not a Q follower by any means, but I keep an open mind, and I read a drop here and there if someone posts one on here.
I'm on the hunt for any evidence that shows that Trump is working on something behind the scenes. I think a lot of people are lumping anyone who believes there is a plan of some sort with Q.
I'm just going by what I know of Trump. He wrote a book called The Art of the Comeback. I mean he literally wrote the book on what's happening right now. He follows The Art of War. lol
This is not a man that will allow an election to be stolen from him. I just can't see that. So I think Trump has to have a plan. Whether Q is real or is in any way a part of it remains to be seen. I'm skeptical, but man it would be so cool if it was real lol
Hunting for evidence that Trump is working on stuff behind the scenes, and a plan. You do realize you just described the Q-phenomenon practically verbatum.
So, even if you're not getting your info from Q, your pursuing the same exact kind of mythology. By "mythology" I don't mean false, but rather the idea of "mythos" ... like a story or a theme.
You basically ASSUME there exists some "plan" and engaging in the same sort of behavior where you're looking for tiny clues or hints of that plan. What's the purpose of looking for this plan? Do you "trust the plan?"
Wherever you're getting your ideas from is fairly arbitrary to me, whether Lin Wood, Q, or somewhere else ... it's the exact same mental model, with the same patterns.
He would never "allow" it, but he's not God. He has a fuck ton of people undermining and backstabbing him. Trump already committed to a peaceful transition of power. The only way for him to perhaps maintain the presidency at this point would be if Pelosi and Biden were so fucking stupid to declare a literal hot war before Trump leaves office.... which I guess Pelosi and Biden are pretty fucking stupid, but youre pretty delusional if you think Trump is going to be president on January 21st.
I get that Trump is smart, and way above average, but he's only human, and there's not a chance that if pretty much his entire staff was backstabbing him the entire president, and he couldn't get the DOJ to arrest anyone in 4 years, that he's somehow going to manage it in his last few days in office.
It's not trusting a plan. It's hoping there is one. I don't know why so many people are trying to make everyone lose all hope. If Biden is sworn in, then I will doom with everyone. Until that day, I choose to have hope. And that's fine if you don't. I'm not saying Trump will win. I don't know. I am just hoping and praying that we get a miracle. I'm a Christian and I believe in miracles. I believe that David slew Goliath with a slingshot. I believe that God can do whatever he wants to do, and if God wants President Trump to remain president, then he will be president.
I do not presume to know God's will, however. So all I can do is pray and hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.
Realism & Truth. I'm not trying to blackpill anyone, I wish there was an option. However what little chance we had of securing the whitehouse was destroyed Jan 6th when some QAnon types raided congress. I'm aware that the raid is being vastly over-exaugurated, but it literally shut down whatever tiny chance of success we might have had.
I'm pretty sure that was a false flag, in the sense that people who hate trump were the ones promoting it on QAnon boards, and the Q-anon types were naïve enough to think such a action was helping Trump.
These fantasies allowed the q-anon supporters to be manipulated into hurting our cause. That's why we have to stop entertaining such fantasies, and start dealing in reality. How many times have you read "arrests tomorrow!" Do you remember all the LARPs about how Bill Barr was about to pull off some crazy shit and trap the deep state? After enough of that shit goes nowhere, it's time to start treating it as noise or misinformation.
if you want to dig in and find out if its real or not, then dig in, no one is stopping you,
I think it's okay to ask for receipts. So many crazy claims are made per day on this site, that nobody has time to look up them all.
If the source of a post, or the person claiming to have inside info also claims to have fucked aliens, I will call it a larp and the OP a retard.
Do you have a specific example?
I'm all for freedom of speech, and even "conspiracy theories," but there's got to be some level or receipts for me to take stuff seriously. I believe there was massive damage caused to our movement by QAnon, including our credibility, complacency, and (after the capital raid) our reputation.
Anything which is "arrests tomorrow" or "trust in the plan" doesn't help us at all, and has turned out to be nothing over and over and over and over.
I believe sources, not unsourced claims embedded somewhere within a 30min youtube video.
If you want to be taken seriously, provide a real source.
We can do that as soon as people stop posting shit from mentally ill disinfo artists. Hint: a guy who sells pillows wouldn't be in the know about top secret military operations.
