I keep seeing posts about Pres. Trump declaring martial law or invoking the Insurrection Act. HOW???
Doesn’t he need a reason? Like some sort of civil unrest or disturbances or something?
Merriam definition of martial law:
“the law administered by military forces that is invoked by a government in an emergency when the civilian law enforcement agencies are unable to maintain public order and safety”
I’m thinking the military can apply curfews and domestic law enforcement. But how does that change anything? Cause it doesn’t make sense how he can do that or how that even changes anything—unless we change it ourselves.
Feels like another case of hopium—like us waiting for an EBS still. Now we’re all stocking up on food and supplies for the next 2 weeks -.-

My understanding is Pelosi is trying to impeach through House rules to make it look like she’s playing by the rules..?
She literally asked the military to remove Trump's command over the military.... to which they declined. Literally an attempted overthrow.
Insurrection Act is military enforced civil law, martial law is the suspension of the Constitution. For the Insurrection Act, there needs to be a conspiracy, which there is in spades.
Will he? We don't know. I certainly hope he does, and I urge everyone to pray.
Trump already has the reasoning all set... BLM, antifa, 2016 &2018 elections. The space force only recently entered the intel community, and probably not infiltrated by the left. In addition, he has asked people to disperse, all requirements to enact the act. I bet his team has the missing laptops from the capitol. If nothing happens, we are on our own. I doubt trump would do that... look at the videos that have been posted the last 3 days... possibly fake, but can still be done by the president to confuse the enemy... We are and have been at WAR, its just not hot yet.

Allegedly there was a rebellion in Washington DC a few days ago. Can’t confirm.

Under this order, commanders could arrest and detain individuals who were deemed threatening to military operations.
Insurrection Act can be invoked in order to prevent civil unrest from happening.
I believe it was amended in the mid 1800's or mid 1900's.
