it was my understanding that the National Guard was going to be there for the rally. Knowing that was one of the reasons I felt very comfortable in the large crowd. I was surprised to find out that they had to be called in!
They are NOT in control of the NG or the military. That is a very good sign.

This letter is dated Jan 5th so that was for the protest... But I've heard/ seen videos DC currently crawling with NG. Who's sending them there now?
