I'm trying to understand the deli clerk part, is this a thing? Whenever i'm at the deli I don't have to wait, it's never busy

I mean like a sandwich shop you have to stand on the x sir sir you can’t lean over the rope. No sir you can’t just go to the register after you pick your sandwich you have to wait for that entire family to order you cannot pass them.

I've never heard another human use the term "sandwich shop". Are you actually in Australia? Or am I the odd one?

In large parts of the US, the word "deli" is rarely if ever used.

"Deli" seems to be a northeast thing.

Yeah, I'd have to see some proof of what you're saying... I've been in the majority of the states, and have seen deli everywhere.
